Tony Wiggins
Tony Wiggins is the founding director of E.I.M. Capital Managers.
He has a background in the resources sector as a geologist and
business analyst including five years with RGC Limited at underground and open
cut mining operations around Australia and two years with North Broken
Hill in the area of mergers and acquisitions. He is a past recipient of
a GB O’Malley Medal from the Australasian Institute Mining and Metallurgy.
Since
commencing work in the financial services industry nine years ago,
Tony has managed equity portfolios for J B Were Asset
Management, Portfolio Partners and the Ethical Investment Company of
Australia. Tony is a member of the Emerging Resources Company Share Fund Investment Committee and
Chairman of E.I.M.'s investment committee. Tony oversees the investment
decision making and analytical processes for E.I.M. as well as being actively
engaged in the financial modelling and analysis which lead to stock
selection and portfolio construction.
Colin Jackson
Colin Jackson is a senior business executive and corporate adviser.
After working in the Australian resources industry as a mine process design
engineer, he became one of Australia's
leading gold sector equity analysts advising institutional clints in
Australia and overseas. As a director of McIntosh and Company (now Merrill
Lynch Australia), he subsequently led the corporate advisory team
responsible for such high profile floats as Placer Pacific and Kidston before holding senior
executive positions at Newcrest Limited and Normandy Limited.
Colin is currently Chairman of
Intrepid Mines Limited, an international mining group listed in
Canada and Australia, and a director of Red5 Limited, an ASX
listed company. Colin is a director of E.I.M. Capital Managers and a member of the
firm's Advisory Committee. He provides general counsel on
investment issues as well as specialist advice to the firm's
Investment Committee on corporate governance and corporate financial strategy.
John Robertson
John Robertson is a consulting economist and corporate adviser specializing in
valuation analysis and corporate communications. After time as a policy
economist in Canberra, his work
in the resources industry in Australia, London and New York
included cross-border transaction analysis and
deal structuring, international raw material and commodity trading, management of
derivatives portfolios and negotiation of commercial agreements. He subsequently became a top rated
mining and resources sector investment strategist with McIntosh and Company (now
Merrill Lynch Ausralia).
Later, as a director and chief economist of McIntosh and Company, he was also
responsible for the firm's macroeconomic research.
He has since held
senior executive positions with Foster's Brewing Group and Senetas Corporation,
primarily involved in business and financial strategy and equity market
communications. As a consultant, he advises corporate clients at Benson Partners and Haystac Capital Market Communications on equity market matters. He is a
member of the Emerging Resources Company Share Fund Investment Committee and
participates in E.I.M.'s investment decision making with special emphasis on
investment strategy, market analysis and asset allocation. |
