E.I.M. Capital Managers
E.I.M. Capital Managers Pty Ltd is an independent Melbourne-based equity fund
manager.
The firm was founded by a group of experienced institutional fund
managers and equity market analysts to offer innovative and
specialized products for distribution to retail investors. It
obtained its financial services license (AFSL No. 261989) on 1 July 2004.
E.I.M. manages
discretionary funds on behalf of institutions, high net worth
individuals and financial intermediaries.
Investing in Resources
The E.I.M. investment team has a special expertise in resources sector
strategy, valuation and investment.
The
Emerging Resources Company Share Fund
is a resources sector fund open to retail investors.
E.I.M. has assembled a
team of people with the special skills
necessary to invest successfully in this segment of the market.
E.I.M. also offers its resources sector investment
capabilities through individually managed accounts and specialised
products tailored to meet the needs of intermediaries and sophisticated
investors wishing to tap the inherent growth in this important segment of the
Australian economy.
Why "EIM"?
The company was originally called Ethical
Investment Management. Hence "EIM". The name was designed to reflect a way of
doing business and a commitment to finding and investing in companies
executing sustainable business plans which added value consistently for
shareholders while dealing equitably with other stakeholders.
The firm's commitment to
these investment practices remains the same but the name was changed to avoid any impression that the
group's investment processes were
simply based on the few negative screens which often typify firms
described as being "ethical".
Agreement with
Officium Capital
E.I.M. has an agreement to provide investment management services to
Officium Capital (formerly Western Pacific  Asset Management). E.I.M. manages the Emerging Resources Company Share Fund, a
managed investment scheme which issued its first units on 28 April 2006,
for Officium Capital.
Agreement with Investment
Administration Services Pty Ltd
E.I.M. has an investment management agreement with
Investment Administration Services (IAS),
Under this agreement, investors can access the E.I.M. funds management  capabilities
through individually managed accounts using the IAS administrative
platform and the custodial services of the ANZ Bank.
The IAS platform is an innovative and cost effective
way for individual
investors to gain access to professional fund managers
with security and high quality reporting while keeping the benefits of
investing through an individually managed account. |
